Barricaid

Barricaid is a novel, bone anchored device that is designed to close the hole after a discectomy while preserving as much of the native disc as possible and is proven to reduce reoperations for reherniations in a level I RCT. 7 patient cohorts with 65 published publications show that Barricaid reduces reoperations for reherniations by 81%. Barricaid was granted a unique C-code by CMS for reimbursement within the United States.
